Ethan Cohan's practice is devoted predominantly to transactional entertainment law with an emphasis on deal making and production in the television and new media industries. He specializes in the representation of production companies, producers, creators, IP holders and on-camera talent. Ethan is able to bring a unique perspective and breadth of experience to his practice having spent the earlier part of his career on the production side of the industry as an executive in charge and head of production. Ethan's combined experience as both a business & legal affairs and production executive has spanned both broadcast and cable as well as scripted and unscripted television productions.
Prior to joining the firm, Ethan served as VP of Business Affairs and Production for Gordon Ramsay's production company, One Potato Two Potato, where he was involved in all aspects of the company's U.S. and U.K. legal, business affairs and production matters.
Ethan and his family reside in Los Angeles, with their dog Atlas.
